Pioneer is the youngest format after Historic, and was established on October 21st, 2019, and consists of all Standard sets from Return to Ravnica onward. The banlist started with the Khans of Tarkir fetchlands, but has since grown to include powerful cards like Oko, Thief of Crowns, Underworld Breach, Field of the Dead, and Uro, Titan of Nature’s Wrath.
