Round 1 Standings

Sealed is one of the two major limited formats, where decks are built by opening 6 packs and using the cards within to build a deck. This league will be run by Csquared08. As a limited league, the Sealed League has some different rules than our other tournaments.

  • The initial signup is to acquire a list of names that will receive pools. You will have one week to submit for this first round.
  • After this initial signup period is over, pools will be generated using an online simulator (everyone's pools will be generated with the same simulator). A second Admin will generate the TO's own pool for integrity purposes.
  • Pools will be given out in signup order. If you signed up first, you get the first pool that's generated, and so on.
  • Once all pools have been given out, a second announcement will be made with a second signup form, this time to submit lists just like any other UOL league. You will have one week to fill out this second form.
  • The Swiss will work just like it would for any other league.
  • During the Swiss, you are allowed to make adjustments to your list, but only after you have played that week's match. Once the match goes up, your list is locked in for that week.
  • If you do want to make adjustments, you must either ping the TO in #sealed-league or send them a message. To be clear, these are adjustments to your game 1 maindeck or adding basic lands to your sideboard. Any attempts to add cards not in your given pool will be met with disqualification upon discovery.
  • Unfortunately, due to the longform nature of our leagues, a Top 8 draft is likely unfeasible. As such, your Swiss sealed pool will also be your Top 8 pool.
