The Solo Invitational is making a return after a few years of absence, now in the hands of ssch21 on our Discord. The NEO Solo Invitational will count only points from the NEO season leagues, while SNC season and all other seasons going forward will count both the current and previous season for points.
Points are earned by competing in our Competitive Leagues. This is the top level of competition for players on UOL.
Points are awarded as such:
- Leagues with a cut to a top 8:
- Top 8: 2 point
- Top 4: 3 points
- Finals: 4 points
- Champion: 6 points
- Leagues with a cut to a top 4:
- Top 4: 2 point
- Finals: 3 points
- Champion: 4 points
If two or more players are tied, the player with the highest finishes will be prioritized. For example, if a player who won a league is tied with a player who made the finals in one league and made the top 4 in another, the champion will be given a higher spot on the leaderboard.
The tournament consists of the top 7 point-earners and the previous Solo Invitational winner (currently Colgate), who will then compete in a double elimination tournament. Matches will be best of three matches of Pioneer, Modern, and Legacy. Whoever wins two of those three matches will continue and the loser is falls to the lower bracket or is eliminated.
There are no prizes for the NEO season. Prizes will be added starting with SNC.
